Riverside Walk
The paragraph on the Riverside Walk contains incorrect information. The connection to Riverside Walk is not at the end of Newfield Road but at the right hand bend where there is a footpath going down to Shepherds Bridge. This footpath is not very well signed and can be easily missed Submitted By: John Neilan

Evacuation
Hello I was evacuated to Liss as a six year old in 1939 with my sister. We were placed with the Rector and his family. Are there any records left of that time in the history of Liss? Submitted By: Pam Hunt

Le Court cheshire home
Hi,i just found your site and am shocked to find out that le court had closed. I live in lancashire,i worked as a volunteer at Le Court as a youngster, and i lived at the childrens home 5 trees inwood road liss from 1967/1975,and an stunned to find that closed too. Can anyone tell me what happened to make these homes close??im rather devastated but cant find any info on web as to the why etc. I adored walking around liss forest as a child when in childrens home, and will try to get down to visit in the summer.I bet i wouldnt recognise it at all. I also went to the liss infant school that was in the middle of 2 roads, and the junior school opposite,i bet they are gone too huh?? Oh,dear all our memories gone to make room for progress i suppose.lol. If i remember the red cross was in a hut near to the home and school it was also my sunday school, but cant think for life of me what it was called. Kindest regards from Ann.xx Submitted By: Ann Osmond

Pilates
I was wondering whether the Triangle Centre offers Pilates lessons for beginners. If you do not, could you let me know where there might be a class either in Liss or Petersfield. I am a beginner, but would like to start up this term - i e April 2008. I work full time in Guildford so would need an evening class. Thank you for your help.
